Squeaky gets ready for piglets

Squeaky is heavily pregnant and we have just finished building a farrowing pen - fully enclosed, draught-proof, and equipped with strip light and infra-red heat lamp - ready for the happy event; her third time, our first! If all goes to plan she should give birth within the next few day, however, she was pregnant when we bought her in October and we aren't sure when Boris the Boar did the deed. Old, experienced pig men would recognise the signs but we are not taking chances so Squeaky went to her new home on Monday. How do you move a 20stone pig with a mind of her own? Easy. Open the gate of her pen, wave the yellow feed bucket at her and off you go!
